Marlarm use a variety of control panels including those manufactured by Honeywell, Radionics, and Napco. Depending on your needs we can use a panel that allows for hardwired, or wireless devices.
The keypad is the mouth of the system. It tells you the user what is happening. Whether in alarm, ready to arm, or something on the system is open the keypad will provide you the information. It is also the part of the alarm system that you will you most often and is readily seen in your home or business. Therefore you should make sure that you are comfortable with how it looks and operates. Whether it be the color graphic touch screen, English display, or a zone indicator you need to be familiar with what it is telling you. Whether you have a casement window or double hung window we can take your screen and alarm it. This provides you the ability to have the alarm on and the window open. If an intruder tries to either cut the screen or remove it the alarm will sound. Now on a nice spring or summer day you can enjoy the breeze. Shock Sensors are devices that tell the alarm panel the glass is broken and to sound the alarm. These are very import because not every intruder tries to open a window. Sensors that are designed to tell the alarm when a window or door has been opened and the protect point no longer is making contact with the device. The camera we will install for you will depend on the individual application that you are looking for. We have indoor, exterior, dome, bullet, weather/vandal proof, covert, and pan tilt and zoom (PTZ) cameras. We recommend color cameras for our installation.
We supply different make and models depending on your individual needs. Our DVR’s have multiple recording settings, to extend your hard drive as long as possible. The hard drive can be from 80GB up to 3 Tera Bytes to allow for maximum storage. The systems can be embedded or PC based. Motion Detectors can be used as a back up device to your perimeter devices. A motion detector shoots an infrared beam that if crosses when armed signals an alarm. They are available with pet immunity. A device that can be placed somewhere in your home, that when pressed sends an immediate distress signal to the central station so the police can be dispatched immediately.
Unsupervised Openings The central station will log when the alarm is turned on and off and can send you a report the information. Supervised Open/ Close If the central station does not receive a signal to show that the alarm has been opened or closed during a predetermined time they will call the premise. Basic Monitoring The central station monitors the account and when a signal is received it calls the necessary authority.
Daily Test The alarm panel can send in a test everyday to the central station to ensure communication. For fire panels this is mandatory. |
